"Thank you so much, Mical," Revan said. "I'm in your debt. If you need me to do anything like go on a mission for you or set you up on a date, you know my number." She grinned mischievously at him. "Don't think I don't know about Mira. I felt the same way with Carth years ago. You can't hide from me, you know." She laughed at his surprised face.

Mical
I raised my eyebrows in both astonishment and surprise, however I knew that I shouldn't have been so surprised. Revan was, after all, a very observant individual.
"Eh, yes," I stammered, and coughed quietly. "Listen, you go ahead and say goodbye to your son, and I'll go and find Mira." Then, without waiting for her reply, I headed off in the direction of the old council chambers, where I could sense Mira's presence at.

Revan smiled at his retreating form, thinking of Carth. He was just grmupy, and he's get over it, but still... She would have rather had a force pike driven through her chest instead of him yell at her. He had hurt her... again. He had said he hated her after her identity was revealed. Though he hadn't apologized yet for that little mess up, Revan was surprised by something else. Seeds of doubt seemed to have been planted in their relationship. Carth never got to see Dev or her any more. And if Mical wanted to pursue a relashionship with Mira, best of luck to him, but...
Mical never really got out much. He never exactly ‘hung out’ with any cool people, or hit on any woman. Mira was used to the big bad guys hitting on her and letting her know how hot she was, because Mira really was beautiful. They’d be separated by missions, and if Mira ever got pregnant with a child of her own…
Revan remembered something Mira had told her once. ”I love challenges. I crave them. Every time I get some vacation time, I’m miserable.” Like the blaster bolt absorption she was working on… Mira ad put her heart into it. She would accomplish it one day, too.
As Revan was walking down the halls, back to her quarters to pack, she felt that if she left, she should face Carth. And if he didn’t talk to her, then it was his problem, not hers. He’d have to get the hell over it because if Revan was known as one thing, it would be this: She would never take back what she said. That was her way of the Jedi.
--
Mira was hungry. Very hungry. Considering that she had not eaten for a day or two, now (it was very hard to be a Council Member and a lightsaber instructor), Mira decided to chow down at the nearest eatery, by Khoonda. She wasn’t wearing the traditional Jedi Robes, but more of a combat suit, actually. She wore a black cloak over herself because it was nearing winter here on Dantooine, and the first few flakes of snow were starting to fall. Putting up her hood, Mira exited the Enclave and bid the Jedi Droid goodbye. When asked of her location, Mira just shrugged and said, “I’m hungry.”
Night was falling. Mira knew for a fact that the others would be leaving at the break of dawn: well, Revan and Atton would be. She’d demand to go, too, but later. She was starving.
She was so caught up in her thoughts, that as she past the large hill about fifty meters away from Enclave Grounds, she didn’t notice the large, dog-like shape sink into the shadows.

OOC: Maybe Mical could hit on Mira a little like you suggested--we'll see MicalBy the time I reached the training room where I had sensed Mira, she was no longer there. The room was almost empty, save for a couple of padawans who looked as though they'd just arrived, and they were practicing with their lightsabers, blocking and deflecting blasts from remotes. They are doing their homework, in other words, I thought. They didn't see me when I entered, they were too busy focusing on the drones, so I turned quietly and left without disturbing them. Someday, they will be able to know what's around them at all times, even when they're in the heart of battle, I thought confidently. They were young now, but soon enough, they would be able to do many things, so long as they worked hard and devoted themselves to their studies and their training. I headed toward the enclave's exit, and asked the protocal droid there if he had seen Mira. The droid simply said, "Yes, she left a few moments ago." "She did?" I said, raising my eyebrows in surprise. "Where did she go?" "She did not say. All that she said was 'I'm hungry.'" "Ah," I said, and let out a soft sigh. "Alright, well, I'm heading out to find her. Revan needs her for a mission, and I would... like to talk with her anyway. So I should be back shortly." I gave the droid a friendly pat on the shoulder, and walked on out, feeling slightly silly about it afterwards. Once I was outside, I glanced around, and then I headed off, trying to find Mira. I attempted to zone in on her Force signature, like a homing device. With enough time, I knew I would find her.

OOC: Now for some pizza and Mountain Dew…
Mira sat down at the small restaurant called Jacoby’s Dough. There was no one there for the time being, and Mira was content as she took a large mouthful of her pizza slice, then a long sip from her Mountain Dew. The pizza was her favorite: cheese and mushrooms. She never thought that pizza could taste so good.
After a few minutes of eating, Mira noticed that someone was reaching out to her. Rolling her eyes, and identified the Force Signature as Mical’s. Dammit what did he want? Sighing, Mira magnified her presence in the Force so he could find her. Leaning back in the chair, she waited for him to show up. In the meanwhile, she ordered him a cheese and pepperoni pizza. She didn’t know if he liked pizza, but if he didn’t, she’d just eat it.
Shrugging her shoulders foreword and backwards to stretch out the knotted up muscles, Mira took another sip of her drink.

Revan didn’t really need to use the Force to figure out where Carth went. He was tired, so he had probably crashed at the guest quarters. She cautiously opened the door, hoping that Carth was asleep. He was. He was snoring, too. Revan rolled her eyes.
Crossing over the room, she grabbed a pencil and paper and wrote down these few words:
”Gone hunting for a few days, flyboy. May go in and out of contact for a while. – Rev.”
She put it on the table in front of him, and leaned down, kissing his lips softly. “Dev’s all yours until I get back,” she whispered, willing her voice to carry past his restful state, and into his dreams. She smiled at him, and left the room to go pack.

A Mira/Mical co-post by me and Force_Flow:
Mical entered the restaurant, which was basically empty, except for the people who worked there, and Mira herself, who was seated at one of the tables. He knew that she had sensed him coming--he could tell by the way she had amplified her Force signature.
He swallowed, feeling a little bit nervous as he approached her. And just as he walked up to her table, one of the waiters walked up and set down a cheese and pepperoni pizza.
He raised an eyebrow, noticing that she already had a pizza. "You must be hungry tonight," he commented casually, just trying to start up a conversation.
"You would be, too, if you haven't had any food for the past day and a half," Mira said, finishing the rest of her pizza slice. She set the small plate down and yawned, tired. "I finally got that move down," Mira said. "Absorbing the bolts into your body. Works wonders, really. Seems to give you a power-down afterwards, though."
She stretched her arms, now, and was suddenly aware that she had taken off her dark cloak in her haste to eat. Her form-fitting cloths made her feel suddenly self-concious. She disguised it with a gin. "What's on your mind?"
"I'm here on behalf of Revan," he began. Of course, there were other things he would rather have struck up a conversation about, such as his... attraction to her, and his admiration for her, but he didn't know how to do it without making himself feel like an utter fool. So he decided to discuss business first.
"She wants you and Atton to accompany her on the mission to find Dane," he continued. "And I firmly believe that, the sooner you leave, the better. It's vital that you three find Dane and help her."
He glanced down at the table. "Though... perhaps you should finish your dinner first. May... may I join you?"
"Be my guest," Mira said. She leaned foreword and took another slice, dropping it on her plate. "So... what's it like being 'Head of the Jedi' with Revan? She must keep you on your toes."
Mical sat down in the seat across from her, letting out a nervous chuckle. "Yes, you could say she does keep me on my toes," he said quietly. "Sometimes she comes up with ideas and plans that I never would have dreamed of. But she's an excellent leader, and she's good at what she does."
He studied Mira for a moment, simply admiring her, then he said, "Just as you are good at what you do. I've really come to respect and admire you--I mean, your abilities." He grimaced inwardly, unsure if that had come out right.
She opened her mouth, a frown crossing over her features. Her sentance died in its' wake, and the only think she could say was, "Thanks, I guess." They were silent for a moment. "Yes, I guess Revan is a great leader. She's got the plans, and Dane usually executes them. Just like in the War. I never told anyone where I was when she attacked Dxun. I witnessed first-hand what she could do." She shrugged. "The past is just the past. I'm not sure even Revan knows that I was even there."
"She most likely didn't," Mical murmured. "But during times of war, I'm sure there are many people who would go unnoticed, so to speak. If you know what I mean."
Again, his words sounded a bit awkward and clumsy even to his own ears. He was having trouble just speaking around her now. He glanced toward the exit, briefly thinking of excusing himself and heading out. However, he knew that this would probably be the last time, for quite a while anyway, he would have a chance to speak to her. So he turned to face her again, and tried speaking.
"Mira, there's something that I... wish to tell you."
"Go ahead," Mira said, frowning. "You look a bit... pale. You okay?"
Mical opened his mouth, then closed it. He felt like someone was squeezing his throat, even though there wasn't. He wasn't exactly sure what he wanted to say, nor did he know how to say it.
"Mira... well, erm, like I said a moment ago, I've come to respect and admire you a great deal. I mean, well, I admire a lot of people--I've always admired Dane, because she's an excellent leader, and a teacher, and a role model. But I... you... uh..."
His voice quit on him for a moment, and Mira was looking at him in confusion. He closed his eyes, counted to three, then just blurted out what he had on his mind.
"Mira... I think I might be falling in love with you."
Right after the words escaped his mouth, he hoped the floor would open up and swallow him alive.
That absolutely floored Mira. She gazed at him, uncomprehending. She gaped at him like a fish. "Wow," she said, willing herself to keep the tremor out of her voice. "That's... Wow..." At the moment, it was all she could say. She couldn't come up with a sarcastic reply that normally came to her. She was left with a blank. Numb. That described her, right then and there.
"Is it okay to say that I think I'm falling in love with you, too?" she asked wryly. "I've had dreams about you. I've always been trying to get your eye, ever since the Council was formed. Either it's because I just then noticed that I was alone, or I really do have feelings for you."
She scratched her head. "I have an idea," she said. "Probably the boldest one yet, but... Just tell me if you like it or not."
She leaned foreword and kissed him tenderly on the lips. After two seconds, she withdrew, embarrassed. "Did you feel anything? Because I sure as hell did."
Mical's eyes nearly popped out of his head with shock. First there was the revelation that she might actually feel the same way about him. And now, she just kissed him!
"Wow," was all he said in reply, repeating the same word she'd said just a moment ago.
In response, he leaned across the table, cupping her chin gently in his hand, gazing into her eyes. Then he leaned in and kissed her, long and hard.

Revan was back in her quarters, throwing random things she'd need into a small backpack. So far, she had taken all the medpacs she had (she hoped Carth wouldn't notice), most of the painkillers, two bags of rations, and her lightsabers. She was going to dress as a civilian for this mission. That meant, regretably, she couldn't have her lightsabers in plain sight. She took out her blaster pistil, and made sure it was loaded and that the safety was on.
She put the blaster under her mattress, where Dev wouldn't find it. She entered his room with a smile. "Guess what, honey?" she asked. "It's snowing!"
Dev, from his place in the corner, clapped loudly. He ran to Revan. "Momma, please, please, please can I go play in the snow with Mira?"
"Mira isn't here right now, hon," Revan said. "But, tell you what, why don't we both go play in the snow?"
"Can daddy come?"
"Daddy's asleep, so let's not wake him up," said Revan, putting a finger to her lips. "Let's get your jacket."

Mical
Time seemed to stand still as the lingering kiss went on. When he finally pulled away, taking in a deep breath of air, he gazed into Mira's face, resting his hand on her cheek.
Finally, he pulled away. Some of the other tables had become occupied, and he realized that they were being watched. He felt his face flush slightly. "I think maybe we should... get out of here now," he said. "Perhaps we should head back to the enclave. Revan's probably waiting for us anyway."
He rose, and held out his hand toward her. "But perhaps we could go for a short walk, in the plains, first?" he suggested warmly.

"Sure," she answered. "That's the way I was going to go back, anyway." Mira's face matched the color of her hair as people continued to stare. Leaving the credits on the table, they exited the Khoonda base. Every time Mira came through here, she remembered when they were forced to fight the scarred-man and his mercenaries.
She and Mical left Khoonda, and started back towards the Enclave. The shadow that had been there for quite some time now changed direction, following two Jedi Masters instead of the little flutterwing he had been chasing earlier...

Mical
Mical walked beside Mira, as they began to take the long way around back to the enclave, rather than going the direct way. As they walked, Mical slowly reached out and took Mira's hand into his own, giving it a gentle squeeze.
But before he could say anything, something caught his attention--like a nudge at the edge of his senses. He stopped, looking around. Mira looked at him with a puzzled expression.
"I thought I heard something," Mical said softly, looking around.
