Anything strange, weird, or just plain bizzare happen to you when you play Kotor 1 or Kotor 2?
This happened to me once:
I encountered a weird glitch in Kotor 1 recently, when I was playing through Taris as LSM Revan.
I was in the Sith Base, and well, I had Carth and Bastila in my party. At first, I went through the base, and ignored that Duros in the force-cage (the one you can choose to either set free or kill). Well, my party engaged some Sith troopers, and let's just say it didn't go too well. Carth and my PC got defeated, so I was left with Bastila, who was now running very low on her health. So I had Bastila run for it, so she could have a chance to regain her Force points, so I could have her heal herself and rejoin the fight.
Now comes the weird part. While I was waiting for Bastila's Force points to build back up, I had her turn all the switchs on the wall into the green "on" position, so that the force cage would explode and kill the Duros. But, nothing happened. All of the panels were green, but the Duros were still standing in his cage, alive.
So anyway, once Bastila had enough Force points, I had her heal herself, then I went back to finish the fight with those Sith. Once Carth and Revan were revived, I had my party return to the room where the Duros was.
Having switched back over to Revan as the party leader, I tried clicking on the force cage where the Duros was. You know how the little icon appears when you can click on someone in the game to talk to them? That's what showed up. As soon as I clicked, the Duros shuddered, then the cage blew up. I got DS points, and 110 XP points.
However, even though the cage looked slightly smokey, the Duros was still alive and standing in the cage
So I did it again... I clicked the cage, and the Duros shuddered, then the cage exploded again. More DS points, and I got 110 more XP points. And again, the Duros was still standing inside the cage, alive and well.
So I did this over and over again for a while, to gain more XP points, although it also meant I got infinite DS points Though after a while, it did get rather tedious. Plus after a while, the interior of the cage looked rather smokey and black, so the Duros began to look more and more like a ghost
