He slapped the engine angrily. "Now I see that it's a sin to even consider him as a Master."

Very slowly, Mariel turned and looked Nait up and down, as an idea grew in her mind.
"Hmmmmm......" she said slowly, starting to like the idea more and more.

Mariel grabbed a coil of wire, and soon she was measuring out the lengths. All the time she was in thought.

He deftly clipped a wire with his scissor-like wire cutters and twisted the remaining wires into a knot. Crude, but effective.
He started humming a familiar tune, soft and slow. He scarcely remembered it, but Scout had sung it to him, a memory from their mother.

Mariel checked over the engine to the best of her ability. It wasn't much, but it was the best she could do.

About an hour later, the duo were finished. Nait blew out a breath. It had been hard work. He was once again thankful for his photographic memory and that he was easily bored in the Temple.
"In another day we can catch up to my sis and Jaskia," he said. "I can finally protect her from Vader."

Selas meditated in his room, aware that others were also awake in his ship. He didnt blame them. He couldnt sleep either.
Standing up, he went to the sitting room, not surprised to find Scout and Sora, who was snoozing on the couch. Scout was sitting on the floor, looking at the wall.
"No sleep for you either, huh? Hard to sleep, during these troubling times." he said to her, with his mind.
