1. To join an Alliance, find the thread here in the Rim with your Alliance’s name on it and click that thread. Read over to make sure you meet the qualifications, then fill out the application that every Alliance uses, based on one template. Send it to Force_Flow, the RolePlay director here. She’ll be keeping an eye on you guys.

2. Remember, no powerplaying. Let’s all be good sports here and NOT control others’ characters without their permission. And that includes cutting off their arms, RedEagle. No hacking off limbs or killing characters without permission. Period.

3. Say you want your character to have a romance with another character. I say go for it! As long as both of you agree that your characters can do it, it’s fine by us. I wouldn’t suggest that your characters have all the women (or men.) If you want a disaster, remember, I’m watching.

4. NO sex posts. Anyone violating this rule will be banned from the RPG immediately for two months. I’m really trying to pound this into your heads. If we post anything revolving around porn or sexually related things, Vode An goes ‘buh-bye’.

5. Please post in clear, complete, and accurate sentences. I know some guys like posting one liners, but that’s a ‘no no’. At least five sentences, please. Use your 6th grade handwriting skills and use quotations, periods, commas, and whatever you guys are learning now. Like this:
“Yes,” Allana said softly, tears welling up in her eyes. “Yeah, I understand, Klayton. This is for the Order.”

6. Cursing is okay, but c’mon… We’re mature, here, not counting RedEagle (Okay, I’ll stop making fun of him…) and we all know cursing isn’t great. Remember, kids are on this site. A name “crap” “dammit” or anything else is fine, but as long as you aren’t doing it fifty million times in a post. I don’t think I should set a limit. You’re old enough to know when enough is enough.

7. Set some feel for your character. Remember, they’re only so powerful. If your character never picked up a weapon in his life, do you think he’ll turn into a Jackie Chan? Nope. These guys have feelings and emotions, too. A character is like someone here on Earth. No, not Jason Bourne or 007. Someone with feelings, weaknesses, fears, wants, and dreams. Keep them as realistic as possible.

8. Like the above Rule, they can’t be all-powerful. Only one person in the Galaxy can bring people back from the dead, and that’s Cade Skywalker. But, unfortunately, he isn’t here. So unless you ask for permission from Force_Flow, that guy stays dead. No bringing demons from hell, no brushing off blast bolts like they don’t hurt, because they do. And don’t have your character get a limb chopped off every other week, either. Unless they have a huge deathwish.

9. Try and post regularly. I understand if you have to go away for a while, so if you need a run-down on what’s happening, please contact Force_Flow and she’ll be happy to fill you in. ;)

10.HAVE FUN. I cannot stress this enough. Have the best time you can here in the Missionary RPG. If you’re active enough, you may be promoted to mod here to help keep track of the RPG.

11. The Rules will be updated regularly, but don’t worry: we’ll inform the players if anything changes. Have a good time, and keep your ear to the sky. ;)
